About GritBid

Where we come from

We've spent years working in materials supply across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Sand, stone, base, fill: we've seen how it gets bought, loaded and hauled, and we've seen the same problems hold up job sites week after week.

What we saw

Buyers were spending too much time just getting a load delivered. They struggled to:

• find the best delivered price without calling round half the morning
• know which truckers would actually show up when they said they would
• find a truck available at all when the schedule changed

Truckers had it just as hard. Too many were living hand to mouth, load to load and day to day, with no easy way to line up work further into the future.

Why we built GritBid

So we built a simple platform to fix it. Buyers post the job: material, pickup, drop-off, how many loads and when. Truckers answer with one delivered price. The buyer picks the bid that suits them best, whether that's the lowest price, the fastest delivery or the most trusted hauler.

After every job, both sides mark whether the other followed through. Those Follow Thru Scores show on every profile, so reliability isn't a guess anymore. And because jobs can be posted up to a week ahead, truckers can see work coming and fill their schedule before the week starts.

GritBid started here in the Metroplex, where we know the pits, the yards and the people who keep them moving. But it was built to work anywhere in the USA, and we're ready to roll it out wherever materials need hauling.

We will never charge truckers or buyers to use GritBid. No listing fees, no bid fees, no commission. The materials industry is competitive enough without us making the process slower or more expensive.
