How it works for buyers
1. Post your load in two minutes
Enter the material, pickup and drop-off locations (with any site restrictions), how many loads, and when you need them. A job can run for up to a week.
2. Set your terms
Set the maximum you'll pay, and the minimum Follow Thru Score a trucker needs to bid. If you only want proven haulers, you'll only hear from proven haulers.
3. Watch the bids come in
Truckers working in your area see your load and send one all-in delivered price. The default closing time is 2pm the day before your first pickup. You can choose a different closing time, at least four hours after posting, and accept a bid before it closes.
4. Pick your winner
Choose the lowest price, the fastest delivery or the hauler you trust most. Once you award the job, you get the trucker's contact details to confirm the delivery.
5. Rate the follow-through
After the job, mark whether the trucker followed through. Those scores keep everyone honest.
How it works for truckers
1. Set your patch
Drop a pin on the map and set a radius. You'll see every open load that picks up or drops off inside it.
2. Add your fleet
Round bottoms, truck and pup, belly dumps. List what you run so buyers know what's coming.
3. Bid one delivered price
Source the material, price the haul and send one number. No phone tag and no chasing estimators.
4. Fill your week ahead
Loads are posted up to a week out, so you can line up work before Monday instead of living load to load.
5. Build your Follow Thru Score
Every job you follow through on raises your score. A higher score opens up buyers who only want proven haulers.

Is GritBid really free?
Yes, for everyone, always. There are no listing fees, no bid fees and no commission, for buyers or truckers.
Who pays the trucker, and how?
You do, directly, on whatever terms you agree once the job is awarded. GritBid connects you and records the follow-through. We never touch the money.
What is a Follow Thru Score?
After every job, both sides mark whether the other followed through or reneged. The result shows on every profile, so you can see who turns up before you award a load or accept a job.
How quickly will I get bids?
Truckers see your load as soon as you post it. You choose the closing time, with at least four hours for truckers to respond. The default is 2pm the day before your first pickup, or a later closing time for a same-day load. You can accept a bid as soon as you see one you like, before bidding closes.
What does "one delivered price" include?
The material and the haul, together, to your site. You don't need to source from the pit and book a truck separately.
Do I need to download an app?
No. GritBid runs in your phone's browser and is built for use in the cab or on site. You can also add it to your home screen like an app.
